This summer, a unique cultural experience will come to life at Kobikicho Hall
inside the historic Kabukiza Gallery—a venue with over 130 years of history in sharing
Japanese performing arts.
For one month only, Japan’s first-ever theater exclusively dedicated to traditional
instruments will open its doors,
featuring stunning live performances on KOTO (13-string・17-string) , SHAKUHACHI, and
TSUGARU SHAMISEN.
Set in an intimate, immersive space infused with the refined aesthetics and craftsmanship
of Japanese tradition,
this 50-minute non-verbal performance is a captivating journey into the heart of Japan’s
musical and cultural heritage.
Perfect for international travelers, the show combines exquisite sound, stage artistry,
and visual beauty—no language required.
